We are currently looking for dedicated Mechanical Engineer professionals to join our team at ADB Taiwan.
Job purpose:
The candidate shall be proficient in mechanical design, package design, tooling approval, as well as troubleshooting quality and manufacturing-related issues. Additionally, two important key aspects are: communication with the customer in a proper and decent manner and thorough knowledge of mechanical materials (plastics), textures and related documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Design
- Package Design
- Design Review (ODM)
- Tooling approval for production
- User Manual and printing handling, with sample approval
- Fixing quality issues and manufacturability issues
- ADR, PRD, POD, SCD drawing release; PCR and ECR change release.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design
- Material knowledge for injection and stamping
- Tooling trial experience
- Familiar with CAD (ACAD, SolidWorks)
- ME design experience
- Stable career path – min. 3yrs in one company – as a plus
- Good knowledge of English (both written and verbal communication)
- MS Office – familiarity
