Sales Engineer – the United States

We seek a dynamic and technically adept Sales Engineer to support our sales efforts in the hospitality and healthcare sectors. This role will focus on cutting-edge video entertainment and information delivery systems. This role will bridge the gap between technical product knowledge and customer needs, playing a key role in pre-sales consultation, solution design, and ongoing client support.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions that exceed their expectations.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the capabilities of our video solution.
  • Translate client needs into system configurations, network designs, and integration plans, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Assist with proposal development, RFP responses, and technical documentation. Act as a technical liaison between the client, sales team, product management, and engineering.
  • Support on-site evaluations, installations, and pilot deployments as needed, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in IPTV, streaming, and digital signage, providing expert insights to our team.
  • Train internal teams and customers in product functionality, system setup, and maintenance best practices.
  • Provide input to product development teams based on customer feedback and market needs, driving innovation and growth.

 

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical sales, systems engineering, or solution architecture role.
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong emphasis on acquiring new customers and driving recurring revenue.
  • Experience with hospitality and/or healthcare technology environments, preferably with IPTV, video-on-demand, digital signage, or patient engagement systems.
  • Experience with CATV MSO or Telco company video solutions and distribution.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, video streaming technologies, and system integration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 5-10%).

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of Pro:Idiom, Verimatrix, MPEG-DASH, HLS, multicast/unicast delivery.
  • Familiarity with EHR integrations (for healthcare environments) or PMS integrations (for hospitality).
  • Technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are a plus.
