Internship at ADB

Recruitment

Recruitment for the 2023 summer internship has started!

Recruitment process

Stage 1 - Application

Apply with a CV and/or filled out Skills Questionnaire - via the form below or by sending an e-mail to the following address: [email protected]

Stage 2 - Meeting and tests

If your profile matches the internship profiles, you will receive an invitation to meet us. During the meeting you can expect tests verifying your knowledge of programming languages (most frequently Java/C++/C) and English. We also discuss your technical skills (mentionted in the Skills Quastionnaire) and interests as well as the internship topic.

Stage 3 - Decision

After completion of the tests and the interview, you will receive information about our decision via e-mail or via phone. We try to act quickly, so you may as well receive such information already at the end of the meeting. We offer internships to the best candidates first, followed by the candidates from the wait list.

Step 4 - Formalities

After you qualify for the internship, we will inform you via e-mail/phone about the required formalities, as well as the subsequent process and we will set the starting date of your internship. If you need a certificate of internship for the university, we will help you in the preparation of the necessary documentation.

Meeting

At the interview meeting, you will be asked to complete tests selected by you (at least 2 programming languages) - mainly Java, C++, C or Javascript. You should expect practical tasks – we will try to encourage you to code or verify a code fragment, still, some theoretical questions may also crop up.

In order to test your knowledge of English, you will have to complete a 30-minute choice test; a part of the interview may also be conducted in English.

The entire meeting, including the “technical” interview (on technical topics, internship tasks, your skills from the questionnaire and possibly based on the test results) should be completed within 3 hours.

In the case of group recruitment – several or a dozen people – the first stage is writing tests and collecting the Skills Questionnaires & CV, and then the selected persons are invited to a meeting at ADB office for a technical interview, which will also present the tasks and schedule of the internship.

Tests for developers

We usually meet f2f for tests and ‘technical’ interview (i.e. some technical questions plus discussing your skills & possible experience). Sometimes the programming tests are organized in groups – then they are the 1st stage, while only chosen candidates are later invited to the ‘technical’ interview at another, previously scheduled time.

Recruitment of testers

Candidates for Software/web application Testers should apply via the form below (along with a CV and Skills Questionnaire) – a brief interview meeting, together with English test, is arranged separately.
