Sales and Business Development Manager – Milan, Italy

We are looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager to join our Milan-based team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with designated accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction profitable sales
  • Effectively manage and own the business, from a commercial, contractual, legal, financial, delivery and post sales perspective
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams in support of account objectives, play the role of a gatekeeper for customer into organization, for all issues encountered
  • Proactively meet with prospects and potential customers to understand their need through a consultative sales approach,
  • Conduct status and strategy meetings with the customer’s key players to understand their needs and link them to ADB’s product/service strategies
  • Effectively represent ADB to the customer and the customer to ADB,
  • Understand and communicate ADB value proposition and solutions to the customers


  • 3+ years of Sales or Key account management experience
  • 2+ years of Business development experience
  • Fluent English – mandatory
  • Business acumen
  • Ability and willingness to learn – to get solid understanding of ADB products within 3-4 months
  • Consultative sales approach
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Background: Bachelor in engineering or economics

Nice to have:

  • 2+ years of pre-sales or post-sales experience
  • Market knowledge (Broadband and/or Broadcast market experience) welcome
  • Network of contacts in ADB business domain
  • Passion for technology
  • Self-motivation and self-starting approach, curiosity
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
