This new unit boasts the latest system on chip microprocessor, providing performance enhancements such as fast channel change and swifter rendering of applications, such as the Electronic Program Guide (EPG). The unit is compatible with standard definition (SD) television transmissions across all industry standard compressions, including MPEG-2 and H.264 Advanced Video Coding (AVC), allowing operators to optimize their broadcast bandwidth.
